Starting can be a bit overwhelming, but don't worry! I've got your back.
Here are three simple tips to get you started: Movement, Water, and Food.
1. Move Your Body, Find Your Favourites:
Movement is a fantastic way to start your journey, but it doesn't have to be a chore! Find what you love, whether it's dancing, yoga, or a stroll in the park. The goal is to move an easy and joyful part of your routine. Start small, be consistent, and gradually challenge yourself. You'll be amazed at how much progress you can make with just a little bit of effort!
2. Hydration, Hydration, Hydration:
Staying hydrated is essential for weight loss, but it's also easy to overlook. Drinking water before meals can help control your appetite, making you less likely to overeat. Drinking enough water can also boost your metabolism and support overall well-being. If water isn't your thing, try adding some fruit or herbs to make it more exciting!
3. Nourish to flourish:
Food is the cornerstone of your weight loss journey. The good news is that it doesn't have to be boring or tasteless! And you also don’t have to give up your favourite food. Incorporate nutrient-rich foods like colourful fruits and veggies, lean proteins, and whole grains into your meals. Start small, and aim to incorporate at least one colourful item into each meal. Don't forget to experiment with new recipes and have fun!
