About Nicole.

WHO IS NICOLE ERICA?

Nicole Erica is a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, intentional movement cheerleader and diet culture drop out.

 

Nicole started her own fitness journey approximately in 2015. Nicole recalls seeing herself in a photo and thinking "that can't be me". She was ashamed of her body and uncomfortable in her own skin. 

 

At the beginning of her fitness journey, she had no concept of portion control, how to eat to nourish her body and would feel guilty whenever she ate her favourite "junk" food (pizza!). She would consume food without any regard of the effect it had on her energy, mood and body. She did not exercise at all and was intimidated by the gym. Nicole also dabbled in all of the quick fixes that you could think of; she tried juice cleanses, detox teas, and waist trainers!

It wasn't until 2018 that Nicole started making changes to her life in regards to fitness and nutrition. She found a global weight loss challenge on social media, entered and won! Shortly after that, she joined a boutique gym, joined their weight loss challenge.. And won that as well! This was when she caught the fitness bug. She became obsessed with seeing her hard work pay off.

At the end of these two challenges, she found that she was at another extreme. Instead of eating with no limit and not exercising at all, she was exercising to the point of exhaustion, taking no rest days and was not fuelling her body appropriately.

Nicole has finally found a happy medium where she is able to eat to fuel her body, incorporate daily intentional movement and enjoy her favourite food without feeling guilty.

​

As an Online Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Nicole is a strong advocate for making sure all womxn love the skin that they are in. She specializes in empowering womxn to build a healthy relationship with movement and nutrition from the comfort of their own homes. Nicole is a believer in the fact that you can reach your goals and not have to eat dry chicken breast and steamed broccoli (unless that's your favourite meal, then hey! She can work with that.).
